Eyelash & Eyebrow Tinting & Shaping Diploma Course

Half day course £125
Learn the techniques required to offer safe eyelash and eyebrow tints and eyebrow shaping treatments. This course will teach you how the client's face shape should determine the shape of the brow. It will also show you the "Perfect Brow" and how to achive it using a simple measuring technique. 

Advice and guidance is also given on performing a brow shape with the minimum amount of pain and discomfort to the client.

The course covers the theory behind tinting, plus the skill and technique of colouring brows and lashes correctly. The technique also covers ways of ensuring that the client's skin is not tinted!  This treatment can be offered in your therapy practice as an Eye Duo Treatment - Tinting & Shaping, or as an Eye Trio Treatment when Eyelash Perming is included. This treatment can also easily be incorporated into other treatments, i.e. lashes can be tinted during a manicure or nail treatment, or eyebrows shaped during a facial.

Eyelash Perming Diploma Course

Half day course £125
Add this popular, safe and insurable treatment to your repertoire. The eyelashes are gently stuck to a mini roller. A mild perming product is then used to curl them. This process opens up the eye and makes the lashes look longer. Clients with straight eyelashes can benefit from a semi-permanent lift that lasts for 4-6 weeks. This treatment gives the same effect as eyelash curlers without the risks involved. This service can be offered 24 hours before an Eyelash Tint.

The course will teach you the technique of protecting the eye area and how to fix the perming rods correctly to obtain the perfect curl. The theory behind perming is also covered, which will give you confidence in working with chemical around the delicate eye area.

This treatment can be offered in your therapy practice as an Eye Trio when included with Tinting and Shaping. This treatment can also easily be incorporated into other treatments, for example, lashes can be permed during a manicure or nail treatment.

This course is perfect for therapists who have previously qualified in Semi-Permanent Eyelash Extensions but who, for various reasons, may not feel confident to practice their skills. It is also ideal for those who have had difficulties with application in the past or would just like to brush up on skills. It will give an opportunity to ask questions and to share any problems.

On this advanced courses, you will concentrate on honing your application technique to avoid lashes sticking or clumping. You will also be introduced to different sizes, shapes and colours of lashes to give your clients an amazing customised look.

Also included in this course is the new Express application technique. This is done with eyes slightly open and is much quicker. This enables you to offer different options to clients – particularly those who cannot afford the cost or the time to have a traditionally applied set of lashes. The Express technique can be used on its own, or to further enhance a traditionally applied set of semi-permanent lashes.

At the end of the course you will obtain more skill and knowledge in the application process and be able to offer different treatments to clients in confidence.
